When we take tests and quizzes students will be given an opportunity to correct any mistakes that they may have made.
Students will look over their test/quiz results and correct the mistakes, using a pen, on either a printout of the test/quiz or a blank sheet of paper. This will then be turned into the teacher who will grade the corrections and then rescore the original test/quiz by giving up to half of the missed credit back.
By giving half of the missed credit back a student can easily turn a 50% into a 75%, and even a 20% into a 60%. However, correcting the mistakes does not guarantee receiving half credit back as the corrections must be clear, complete and correct in order to receive the maximum amount of missed credit back.
